Hi , I’m Clare George

My Approach

It always starts with a thought - our thoughts are our power to choose differently. My approach begins with a deep exploration of the heart of the issue, once mapped we can then build a plan to achieve your ‘Health & Life Makeover’ and with support take action steps that will deliver transformation over time.

The River Bends of my Journey so Far

I'm deeply connected with how we nurture new beginnings, a seed, a life and create change for growth

Development is All

My life and career choices were initially inspired by a childhood immersed in nature, the outdoors, and my first degree in Psychology. Exploring our world and its people; body and mind; volunteering and working with different cultures, across himalaya and amazon and gaining a love for diversity and a sense of awe at the ability of everyday people to achieve great things.

adapt and grow

Living and working in multiple countries, moving and change were the backdrop to my life. Years lived in Asia and the influence of eastern traditions added to the breadth and depth of my experience.

Life & Health Makeovers

I became a mom and this expanded my sense of connection and love for humanity. My first big career change and ‘Life Makeover’, with my MSc in Social Program Development. Then, just as I was poised to take my dream job in the USA at an NGO 10 years ago, I experienced the debilitating long term health condition of Chronic Lyme Disease, resulting in a major ‘Health Makeover’ and readjustment of my life’s values.

problems are also opportunities

This life changing experience is also the milemarker where my passion for health and personal growth truly took off and I developed the Health Habits I rely on to this day.

finding purpose

As an ‘Empty Nester’ with an open-road of options when the pandemic hit, I seized another life opportunity to pivot further into this space with a deep-dive into Life Coaching, Behavioural Science and my second Masters - MSc Health Psychology - the study of the bio-psycho-social aspects of life, that affect our health. My research focused around lifestyle health habits and behaviour change to reduce the risk of disease or improve the lived experience around an existing chronic health condition.

Walking the walk

Professionally, I work in a Primary Healthcare GP Practice offering 1:1 Patient Support to problem solve complex health situations. Additionally, I work as a contract Health Coach delivering face to face group workshops for an NHS program in healthy behaviour change around diet, exercise and lifestyle. I am a current graduate member of British Psychological Society, Division of Coaching Psychology.
